| David Jay Jordan's Bride of Christ in the Old Testament (PART 2) Hosea 2: 14 - 23 Therefore behold, I will allure her, and bring her into the wilderness, and speak comfortably unto her. (Yes, the Lord has directed His bride to flee into the wilderness at the time of tribulation. (SEE Fleeing to Petra) And do notice from the parallel scriptures in Revelation 12, that it is talking about the Old Testament Bride bringing forth the man child, JESUS. Revelation 12: 5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. (Jesus's Resurrection) Rev 12:6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days. (SEE Daniel) Hosea 2:15 And I will give her her vineyards from thence, and the Valley of Achor for a door of hope: and she shall sing there,(There it is as we shall be gathered and wed to the Lord before we venture forth into the wilderness, right at Achor to the East of Jerualem, literally. SEE Valley of Achor Marriage) as in the days of her youth, and as in the day when she came up out of the land of Egypt. (Did you catch it the first Children of Israel were a foreshadowing of us , the last Children of Israel. They being the first bride and we being the LAST Bride. (See New Nation Prophecies and 2nd Exodus) Hosea 2:18 And in that day will I make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field, and with the fowls of heaven, and with the creeping things of the ground: and I will break the bow and the sword and the battle out of the earth, and will make them to lie down safely. (Exactly as even though the prophet Hosea, didn't know what he was referring to..YES, we shall be 'Sealed' with a covenant in the End-Time. And this seal shall protect us from the animals and biting locusts of the tribulation trumpets. SEE Revelation Timeline) Hosea 2:19 And I will betroth thee unto me for ever; yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, (There it is, we are the Bride of Christ, betrothed to Him if we love him with all our heart and soul and body, just as He demanded in the First Law of the Ten Commandments. For we are His if we have no righteousness of our own, but consider Him Our Righteousness. SEE She shall be called the Lord our Righteousness which is also from the Old Testament) in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies. (Yes, for then we shall fulfill the words thru Isaiah the prophet.... Isa 54:5 For thy Maker is thine Husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called. Hosea 2:20 I will even betroth thee unto me in faithfulness: and thou shalt know the LORD.(as His Bride whether male or female. See Sexual Mysteries) Hosea 2:21-22 And it shall come to pass in that day, I will hear, saith the LORD, I will hear the heavens, and they shall hear the earth; And the earth shall hear the corn, and the wine, and the oil; and they shall hear Jezreel. (Yes, for the Lord, our husband shall 'Feed us' with his Earth in the wilderness. And we shall command the Earth and it shall obey us. See Prophecy is commanding) Hosea 2: 23 And I will sow her unto me in the Earth; (Yes, the Lord shall graphically and literally love us in the Earth, here on Earth) and I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to them which were not my people, (Again the Lord calls out His people who were not a nation but scattered throughout the world in all nations of the Earth, and gathers together His Bride into One Fold) Thou art my people; and they shall say, Thou art my God. (And we shall be the Bride of Christ if we love Him with all our heart and He has mercy on us.) Love in the Bridegroom ... Jesus David Back to PART 1 Bride of Christ in Old Testament |
