Dave and daughter Nicole at the side of the Potomac River, about 20 yards from the bike path. A very unique and beautiful experience. The path is cool on the hottest days because of the natural canopy of full growth trees. One side of the path is the abandoned canal which houses fish and numerous turtles that come out to enjoy the sun. The other side of the path is the Potomac River. You can watch tubers and kayakers try their luck from various vantage spots on the path.
