Moundsville, WV,  to the Florida Keys  with stays in Grassy Key, Fort Desoto State Park, Bradenton, the Everglades and Lazy Days RV Center.

Moundsville, WV, to Cedar Point, Ohio

 

1998 Summer - RV Excursions, - 3,300 miles.   See Places We've Been.

Moundsville, WV to Eastport, Maine and return including Arcadia National Park, Bar Harbor, Bass Harbor and all small towns in between.

 

1997 Summer - RV Excursions, 1,500 miles

Explored the State of West Virginia, see Places We've Been.

 

1997- Present:  All maintenance and improvments on personal 1977 RV including:

Painting Door to Match Original Paint Scheme

Construction of Hitch Assembly

Holding tank repairs

Refrigerator tune-up and replacement

Construction of Transmission Saver for tow vehicle 94 Grand Voyager

Installation of Steering Stabilizer

Installation movable TV shelf

Rewired horn switch, radio switch, fan switches to be more accessible to driver and to be able to operate radio from auxiliary battery source.

Installed new rear springs

Changed o-ring on speedometer drive

Replaced left rear hub seal

Tow Bar construction, fabricated from scratch

Wiring for Tow Vehicle

Removal and re-installation of radiator after repairs

All normal upkeep such as oil and fluid checks and replacement and safety checks.

 

12/92-Present: CHIEF MECHANIC/INVENTORY SUPERVISOR, Marshall County Board of Education School Bus Garage, 300 Seventh St., Moundsville, WV 26041. DUTIES: Supervise crew of five other mechanics; coordinate service between drivers and mechanics and insure concerns are accurately conveyed; make sure drivers are satisfied with service and communicate their needs effectively to mechanics; assign jobs to mechanics; determine needed parts for repairs and order same; assist in diagnosis and repair when needed; answer shop phone and bus radios and direct callers and drivers; maintain preventative maintenance schedule; fill in and repair buses as needed. Fleet size-130.

 

5/80 -12/92: MECHANIC, Marshall County Board of Education. DUTIES: Mechanical maintenance and repair of diesel and gas-operated school buses and county maintenance trucks and vans and their various systems, including air brakes. Road repair and towing on bus breakdowns. Wide variety of auto, truck and heavy equipment repair, including, but not limited to: repair, replacement and rebuilding of all engines, clutch assemblies, steering and suspension systems, all brake systems and drive-trains. Small engine repair. General auto-body repair and painting.

 

1989 - 1993: OWNER/OPERATOR, JD 2010 Diesel Bulldozer TYPE OF WORK: Landscaping, general excavating, cutting roads and final grade work. Performed all necessary maintenance for bulldozer.
