Garry Michael Mayers
, 48 of Exton PA, died Wednesday, Jun 27,2001 in the Chester Country Hospital, West Chester, PA.He was the Fiancée of Mary Mitchell, of Exton and former Husband of Linda Mayers of Centerville, MA.
Born in Boston, MA, he was the son of Francis Mayers of Reading MA. and the late Anna A. Mullane Mayers.
Form 1972 to 1977, he served in the US Navy and Naval Reserve as an Interior Communications Technician third Class and from 1977 to present he served in the US Coast Guard as a Chief Boatswain mate with search and rescue units and was the Reserve Officer in Charge of the USCGC Point Chico (WPB-82339). He was currently assigned to the Coast Guard Station, Barnegat Light, NJ.
He was former Vice President of customer support for CFM Technologies.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Monday, July 2, 2001, in St. Athanasius RC Church, 300 Haverhill St. Reading, Massachusetts.
Friends may call at the Douglass Funeral Home, 25 Sanborn St. Reading MA on Sunday, July 1, 2001 at 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM
Interment will be in Charleslawn Cemetery, Reading, MA.
