Potted History
Email:
I was born in London and went to Priestmead Infant and Primary school in Kenton. Later I went onto a boarding school in Buckinghamshire called St Christopher's.
My last full time education establishment was to be Chandos School.
Leaving school I went on to my first job as a telegram boy at Edgware Post office, and college in London part time.
Following my employment as a ticket clerk at Belmont, Harrow and Wealdstone and Bushey and Oxhey stations, From  I left to join the merchant Navy and trained at Sharpness in Gloucester. My first ship was the Ocean Coast, with my first trip made to Ireland. I made several other trips on other ships and visited many countries, among them the West Indies, America, Egypt, Syria, India, Australia, Japan etc
Leaving the Merchant navy I joined the RAF and went to Cardington in Bedfordshire and then onto to Hereford. My first overseas posting was to Germany. It was in the RAF that I had my first brush with the Media. I became a DJ story reader and presenter on the Local Radio Station. I wrote all my own scripts. Leaving the RAF I went to work in a number of catering establishments in Sussex I.O.W. and in Bournemouth as a chef /come waiter.
Returning home to live with my parents. I soon found myself a job as a off licence manager before getting a job as a bakers rounds man. having recently passed my driving test.  I joined the then Belmont players and was in several stage plays click
DRAMA to see some of my more memorable performances  It was whilst I was delivering bread and cakes in Luton that I met the woman who was to be my wife for 21 years. We married in 1969 and begat two daughters Tanya and Samantha.  I was a freelance sports writer for a number of local papers, primarily for Football and cricket I was a qualified Referee also played soccer and cricket for a number of local teams and I was manager for a three local soccer teams from the early 70s to the mid 80s and ran my own business as a publisher of a local community publication called Herald.  I sold the publication to a competitor and returned to London in 93 where I spent several years as a sales promotional consultant. During this time I won several holidays abroad and other awards for my sales expertise. Alas I was made redundant. Before my redundancy pay off had been exhausted I obtained a job as an advertising consultant in Edgware.
