1998 Camaro SS - Build Date: November 1997 (#115)

Originally Navy Blue Metalic, now Cyber Gray; Originally M6, now A3

2009 Race Season: All new build from front to back. New engine (same iron block) but destroked to 370ci, same tranny/converter set-up as 2008. The SS is not completed yet but we are hoping to have it to the track some time this year.

As of June 27, 2009: Not ready yet. Soon!!!

2008 Race Season: New engine (same 408 iron block), fresh tranny, and new Ultimate converter.

Starting off early 2008. Made first Test-N-Tune run on April 19th. Dialing in new equipment, including the AMS-1000 boost controller.

2008: Tranny problems, wastegate, injector, fuel pump problems didn't stop us for 2008. Finally broke "officially" into the 1000RWHP range -- 1003.5. Very please.

So close on August 3rd, 2008: Very hot and humid today (95 degree; 60+ hum) with track temp of over 140 degree. New times at 9.06 at 150mph. Very happy with the times even though the conditions were not very good.

New best run todate was run on August 31, 2008:
1/8 time: 5.803
1/8 MPH: 123.9 MPH
1/4 time: 8.986
1/4 MPH: 152.7 MPH

2007 Race Season: Same engine, tranny set-up. New 9" Moser rear-end, mini-tubbed, new rear suspension.

No better times as of June 30, 2007. Still dialing in new rear suspension. Best times for 2007 as of June 30: 9.39 at 144mph with a 1.41 60' and 1/8 mile at 6.01 at 116mph on 10.5 boost. We will be dialing it up very soon.

Ended up shutting SS down in August due some engine and tranny problems

As of June 1, 2006: 890rwhp with 14lbs of boost, 23 degrees of timing. Should have been 950-1000rwhp, but tires went up in smoke on the dyno.
