THE TOWER
Russel sits i his living room with the same dazed expression. He is looking at the painting of the couple in the park. Suddenly he realises where he is and is startled. There is a knock at the door. Russle is startled a second time. He slowly looks over to where the door is. He goes to the door. and looks through the peep-hole. it is the man who he saw in the park. He runs upstairs. he takes a copy of THE TOWER. He reaches for a black marrker. There is more pounding at teh door now more furious. Russel blacks out sentences from the book. at that very moment there is a strange faint noise amongst the sound of the door being pounded. Russel blacks out more lines. The faint sound becomes a sound somewhere between a metallic scream and a sqeaking door. It sounds as though something from another dimention were trying to get in or out of this world. Russel blackens more lines as the pounding of the door becomes unbearably loud. Then as he blacks out one line everything stops. THere is dead silence. Russel drops the book.
