the knocking is now extrememly loud. Suddenly the door bursts open and the mystery girl from across the street and in the paintings and photopraphs walks into the house. She walks to the bedroom but russel is not there. Instead in the center of the room is a canvas still wet with paint depicting an open field with birds flying in the sky.
