				Game of Numbers
Bi-lingual game similar to Master Mind
		    1999 - 2003, David Jos Alonso Garca

  Basic rules:

This is a game in which you have to defeat the computer. The basic rules are quite similar to those of the Master Mind, though here you will play with numbers instead of colours. The computer will think about a number and you will have to think about another one. You just have to figure out which number the computer came up with and in the same way the computer will try to figure out your number. You will have some "clues" called dead and wounded in each trial.

  Number of figures:

Numbers with 4 figures: With the repeated digits mode disabled, these kinds of numbers will be
valid: 1204, 1047, 9532, 6182. When enabled, the following ones will be valid: 2265, 1651, 3932, 0991.

Numbers with 5 figures: With the repeated digits mode disabled, these kinds of numbers will be
valid: 12034, 10947, 95302, 61842. When enabled, the following ones will be valid: 22610, 16711, 39003, 09389.

Numbers with 6 figures: With the repeated digits mode disabled, these kinds of numbers will be
valid: 120345, 102947, 954302, 618042. When enabled, the following ones will be valid: 226105, 167151, 390032, 093891.

  Option "repeated code":

The amendment in version 3.5 is that you are allowed to work with repeated digits. This option adds many more combinations, giving the game more scope.

  Option "automatically compared":

At the moment you enter your secret number, the computer will calculate the total number of dead and wounded of all previous trials. Moreover, like this you make sure you made no mistake entering the dead and wounded manually. If you do not trust this option (though is totally reliable), do not put it in and then enter the dead and wounded manually.

  Option "remaining combinations":

Choosing this option, you will know how many possible combinations are left according to the executed trials.

Important: bearing in mind the PC you are using, it might slow it down considerably when using the numbers with six digits and the repeated digits activated options.

Definition of dead (d): Comparing two numbers, the figure coinciding with its value and position is called "dead". Example 1239 and 5679.In the example above, the fourth figure coincides in both cases.

Definition of wounded (w): Comparing two numbers, for example 1239 with 5697, the figure coinciding with its value but NOT with its position is called "wounded". In the example above this is what happens with number 9.
