The location offers great sound access for wind surfing. The grassy yard is a perfect area for rigging. The SouthWest wind blows from the ocean to the sound making this a good place to sail on a SouthWest wind.
The Frisco Pier is just across the street for those of you who like to fish. The pier was damaged by Hurricane Isabel last year and as of January 2004 repairs had not been started.
Not many people come to the Outer Banks to play golf but the only golf course on the island is less than a mile North of Wind Addiction.
If you have a shallow draft boat, there is enough water to get in and out of the cove beside Wind Addiction. On low tide, you will probably have to tilt you engine.
Wind Addiction is a four bedroom cottage with four levels. The first floor bedroom has a double and single bed. The second floor family room has a sleeper couch, 27' TV/VCR combo and video library, The first second floor bedroom has a queen bed and the other bedroom has two singles.
The third floor of the cottage has the main family room, kitchen/dining and master bedroom.
The fourth level of Wind Addiction is a loft area. The loft has two single beds and makes a great place for kids.
