Who would have thought
This little black dog-
Who charmed me from the start,
Would make its way into my life
And steal away my heart?

Mischievous and so lively-
A dog that loves to play,
The Schipperke is the sunshine-
That brightens every day.

Devoted and protective,
Through times both thick and thin,
My Schipperke is my shadow-
My dog-my love-my friend.
