About the old logo (the big one at the top of this page) - The logo... interesting you asked! It's quite simple, really. Everyone knows the whale and the cuckoo clock are the internationally recognized symbols for cosmic wisdom -- the spiral galaxy, well, it just seemed cosmic!
About the new logo (the smaller one under the quote - Well... I decided the whole thing with the whale, galaxy, and cuckoo clock was too big, so I made a new one with just the whale and text. Oh, and that semi-transparent color thing over the top... that's something or other under a very high-power microscope. I can't remember... it might be Jello or something.
