William ALLEY (the Elder)
supplied by Kay PROSSER , having been extracted by Thomas ALLEY of Westbury Leigh,
Shopkeeper, the Executor, and verified by Thomas BRODERICK , the District Registrar.
This is the last will and testament of me, William ALLEY the elder of Leigh in the parish of
Westbury in the county of Wilts, Shopkeeper.
I devise and bequeath all the real and personal estate to which I shall be entitled at the time of
my decease unto my son Thomas ALLEY absolutely subject nevertheless to the payment of all
my just debts funeral and testamentary expences and also to the payment of the sum of ten
pounds to each of my four children namely William ALLEY (the younger) Edward ALLEY
Elizabeth DOWSON and Rose SMITH within twelve calendar months after mydecease and I
appoint my said son Thomas ALLEY sole executor of this my will hereby revoking all other
testamentary writings in witness whereof I have hereunder set my hand this thirteenth day of
October one thousand eight hundred and eighty, William ALLEY.

same time who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed
our names as witness's.

Proved at Salisbury the 19th day of June 1884 by the oath of Thomas ALLEY the son the sole
executor to whom administration was granted, the testator william ALLEY the elder was late
of Westbury Leigh in the Parish of Westbury in the county of Wilts., Shopkeeper and died on
the 9th day of May 1884 at Westbury Leigh aforesaid.
