Item, wife Ann, 'Rashwood', 5 acres of pasture in North Bradley, and also 2 freehold houses,
one with orchard, garden, etc, occupied by John KEATS and Samuel STOKES
THEN : to nephew Edward FRANCIS, son of my brother James (yeoman, of North Bradley),
'Rashwood', charged : 20 pounds to each of : my nephew James FRANCIS, son of my brother
James, and my neices Mary and Jane FRANCIS, daughters of my brother James
and to my nephew Robert FRANCIS, son of my brother James, 1 dwelling house ( that
abovementioned of John KEATS), charged 20 pounds to Ann SNELLING, daughter of Ann
SNELLING, widow, of North Bradley
and to my neice Martha FRANCIS, daughter of James, 1 house, etc ( that abovementioned of
Samuel STOKES)
Rest to wife Ann, for life, then to my brother Joseph FRANCIS, yeoman of North Bradley, in
trust for :
To Wm FRANCIS, son of my nephew William (yeoman of North Bradley) 10 pounds,
to Mary BUTCHER, daughter of Jeremiah BUTCHER of North Bradley, 20 pounds
to each child of my brother Joseph FRANCIS 10 pounds
to Ann and Elizabeth,(daughters of Wm RANDALL, weaver, late of North Bradley) 5 pounds
each
to brother James FRANCIS 5 pounds
the remainder to be distributed as my wife shall then have willed.
wife Ann to take inventory on my death, copy to Joseph my brother. Item brother James
