Made this Twenty first day of January in the year of Lord 1770. As follows that is to say. First I give to my son Thomas ALLEY twenty pounds to be paid out of my Goods and Chattels. Also I give to my wife Sarah ALLEY the Chest of Drawers in the Room over the Kitchen and a round board in the Kitchen and a little box over the Kitchen. And the Tea Kittle and Tea Chest and Furniture belonging to it. And the Side Saddle and four Earthen plates and the punch bowl in the Kitchen. Also I give and bequeath all the Residue of my Moneys Goods and Chattles and Effects of Nature or kind soever or wheresoever Situate After full pament of my just debts. And Funerall Exoences To my Uncle Thomas Taylor of Hawkridge and Samuel Sweetland of Bratton. Yeoman. In Trust to divide the same Equally Between my Said wife Sarah and my son Thomas and my Daughter Martha ALLEY. Share and Share alike. The Share of my wife to be paid as soon Conveintly after my Decease and the other Shares here by Given to or in trust my son Thomas and my Daughter to be paid accounted for and Delivered to them at the age of Twenty one years and in case on of them dies before twenty one years then to come to the other.
