hereby make my last Will and Testament in manner followeing that is to say Impri.m.s I give and devise unto my loveing Brother William BARTLEY and my loveing Neighbours Anthony GREENHILL and John GREENHILL All my Lands in Southwicke aforesayd To hold the same and every part thereof unto them the said William BARTLEY, Anthony GREENHILL, & John GREENHILL theire heires and Assignes for ever As also I give and bequeath unto the said William BARTLEY, Anthony GREENHILL & John GREENHILL All my Goods Chatlles and personall Estate whatsoever within the Countys of Somersett and Wiltes or elsewhere in the Kingdom of England Nevertheless To and for the severall ... and upon and under the severall Trusts hereinafter mentioned that is to say Upon Trust to permitt Rebecca my deere wife to have receive and enjoy the rents proffitts and produce of my siad Lands and have the use occupancy and enjoyment of said Goods Chattles and personall Estate for and dureing soe long time as shee the said Rebecca shall continue a Widdowe and unmarried and noe longer Saveing alwaies that my said Lands and personall Estate shall be subject unto and my will is the said William BARTLET, Anthony GREENHILL, and John GREENHILL, and the Survivour of them his heirs Executors and Administrators shall have power by sale thereof to raise and pay my Debts and funerall Charges As also the sume of one hndred and ffourescore pounds which I doe give unto my Children hereinafter named by the shares hereinafter menc..oned (that is to say) Thirty pounds unto my Sonne William BARTLEY and twenty pounds apeice unto my three daughters Jane, Mary and Rebecca to be payd my said Sonne and daughters as they attaine the age of ffoure and twenty yeares respectively, Unto my two daughters Elizabeth and Anne Twenty pounds apeice and unto my two sonnes Thomas and Samuel Five and twenty pounds apeice to be paid the sayd Elizabeth, Ann, Thomas, and Samuel, As they attaine the age of one and twenty yeares respectively And my Will is that if any or either of my Children dye within the age of one and twenty yeares Then the money given unto him her or them soe dying shall remaine to the survivours of them by equall shares and proporc..ons And that dureing the minoritys of my said Children they shall live with and be mainetained by the said Rebecca my wife out of the rents proffitts and produce of my reall and personall Estate And in case my wife shall dy or marry before all and every of my Children shall attaine the age of one and twenty Yeares Then my Will is that at the death or Marriage of my siad wife which first happens the sayd William BARTLEY my brother Anthony GREENHILL and John GREENHILL and the survivor of them his Executors or Administrat.ors shall take unto such and soe many of my Children as shall be within the age of one and twenty Yeares t be kept and mainetained by and with the rents proffitts and produce of my reall and personall Estate untill they severally attaine that age Tho (?) as for such part and soe much of my Reall and persoanll Estate as shall be and remain unsold or undisposed off after my Debts Funerall Charges and Legacies are payd and att the Death or and dispose thereof (giving unto such of my sonnes as shall be able to purchase the same the refuseall thereof) And the moneys ariseing by such sale and disposeall pay unto my said Children as followeth (that is to say) Unto my said Sonne William BARTLEY Tenne pounds thereof and all the residue thereof unto ^him the said William and ^ all other my Children as shall be then living by equall shares and proporc.ons Provided allwaies and my Will is that it shall be lawfull for the sayd William BARTLEY my Brother Anthomy GREENHILL and John GREENHILL theire Executors Administrators and Assignes by and out of the rents proffitts and produce of my reall and p..sonall Estate to deduct anddefaine to theire owne use soe much moneys as will be sufficient to satisfie and discharge all the Just and reasonable expences which they shall respectively be att putt unto or sustaine for, in execuc..on or by meanes of or relateing to the Trusts aforesaid or any thing herein contained And that neither of them shall be answerable or accountable in law or Equity for the other of them or for the act or deed of each other but each of them for himselfe and what he shall actually (receive) And
