In the name of God Amen I Edith WILKINS of Brook in the parish of Westbury, Wilts,
widow being sick of body but of perfect mind and memory thanks be to God revoking and
making void all formes and other wills do make and ordayne this my last will and testament in
manner and form following

Item I give and bequeath unto my son Richard WILKINS 20 shill
Item I give and bequeath unto my son William WILKINS 5 pounds and 1 acre of arable land
lying in the common field of Westbury my husband bought of John BURT to have and to hold
the same acre of land from and immediately after my decease. Unto my said son William
WILKINS his executors, Admes- and Assigns for all rest residue and remainder of time that
shall be then to com unexpired
Item I give and bequeath to my son Francis WILKINS 5 pounds
Item I give and bequeath to my son John WILKINS 5 pounds
Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Ann EYEDS, wife of William EYEDS 5 pounds
Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth SELFE, wife of Robert SELFE 5
pounds
Item I give and bequeath unto all my grandchildren I mean my children's children five shillings
apiece
And my will is that all these my legacies above written be paid by my Executor in 1 year after
my decease
Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary WILKINS spinster the sum of 40 pounds
and she being disturbed my will is that it be disposed of for her use and maintenance at and by
the discretion of my executor
Item all the rest of my goods and chattels together with my clothmark called the HalfeCuppe
with the appurtenances I give and bequeath unto my son Edward WILKINS whom I make my
whole executor of this my last will and testament and I desire my beloved friend and kinsmen
Richard COMBS and Francis BAYLEY to be overseers of this my last will and testament and
for their pains I give them 2 shillings and 6 pence apiece

Item in the Parlour 1 tableboard and frame, 2 joyned stools, 3 chairs, 1 coffer, 1 bed and
bedstead with other lumber 5 pounds 10 shill
Item in the Buttery, 7 barrels, 3 horses to bear beere, 1 tableboard, 1 cupboard and beere with
other small implements, 2 pounds 18 shill
Item in the Kitchen 1 tableboard and form, 1 settle, 1 cupboard, 1 pr fire irons, 1 pr iron racks,
3 hangells, 2 spits, 1 jack, 8 flitches bacon, 2 iron backs in the chimney with other implements

Item in the brewhouse 1 brewing furnace, 1 cistern, 4 brass pots, 2 brass kittles, 2 brass pans
and pewter with other small implements 7 pounds
Item in the Chamber 5 bedsteads, 5 beds with rugs, blankets, sheets, bolsters, pillows, and all
that thereunto belongeth 20 pounds
Item 2 chests, 3 coffers, 1 press, 2 boxes and 1 warming pan with other lumber 3 pounds
Item 1 Bible, 1 testament, 1 book of common prayer with other books, 10 shill
Item in the cheeseloft cheeseracks and sacks with other lumber 5 pounds
Item in the warping loft 1 warping bar and (scarme?), 3 spooling turnes with other implements
and lumber 1 pound
Item in the wool loft and wool house wool and yarn with other lumber 80 pounds
Item Flocks, 4 pounds
Item cloth at home and abroad 20 pounds
Item in the mill 1 folding board, 1 burling board, 1 cloth press, 2 Toll or Soll hotches, 1 iron
barr, 1 sledge with other lumber 2 pound 12 and six
Item 4 beds, 4 bedsteads, 4 (serbants?), to lie upon with all things there unto belonging 4
