Otto Vowinkel is a very famous Dutch luthier.
It is used by many world class guitarists such as Denis Azabagic etc. The
wonderful young boy from Taiwan, Chia Wei Lin (who won several guitar competitions
in the world) also uses this guitar.
This particular Vowinkel has very long sustains and projection. The bass sound is not so boomy, but very focused. Overall, this is not a powerful guitar like Fleta or Bernabe, but it is a true concert guitar due to its great projection and beautiful tone quality. Special comments must be given to its playability due to its thin neck. Very easy to play and very recommendable for those with shorter fingers. |
