This guitar was given to me as a prize, when I 'accidentally' won a local guitar competition in Tokyo during
2003 early winter.
Personally I don't think the sound is good, especially the treble. It lacks of balance and
power, especially in the treble side. This is normal because the back/sides are not made from
solid material. One may expect a better quality in the higher models of Sanchez, where all
materials are solid.
Fortunately there are 2 goods things about this particular guitar.
First of all, it has a nice tone color, somekind of Spanish one, with the crispy taste.
The second one is its great playability.
Japanese shop, Kurosawa, the shop which held the guitar competition, is the Sanchez guitars
dealer and I believe the great playability is because of the Kurosawa's specification. It is
common for Japanese dealers to require their own specification to fit the Asian hands
when they order guitars from outside Japan.
I treasure this guitar very much despite its nothing-so-special sound. Inside it, there's
still the joy which I felt upon winning the competition unexpectedly.
