European spruce, exactly quarter-sewn, strraight grain, medullary ray, long grain (same color of the two halves) 2. Back: 50 year old Brazilian rosewood, exactly quarter-sewn, dark grain with camouflage orange striking grain. 3. Sides: The same tree of back. 4. Neck: Quarter-sewn decidous Cedar (very stable and strong yet light). Upgraded with 7mm width inserted ebony along the neck 5. Fingerboard: Ebony with about 0.5mm curvature 6. Headshape: Upgraded (squared slots) with head veneer of the same species 7. Scale Length: 654mm (including 2mm allowance for intonation) 8. Neck specifications: Thickness at 1st fret 23mm tapered to 25.5mm at 7 fret. Width at nut 53mm to 63mm at 12th fret. 9. Strings spacing: 43.5mm at nut to 57mm at saddle. 10. Rosette: Upgraded pattern with thousand of individually tie-blocks (not Kwakkel's standard rosette) 11. Tuning machine: Gotoh Rodgers style with oval mother of pearl. (with Rodgers decorative edge side plate tuning machine with mother of pearl please add Yen 60,000) 12. Back Join: Upgraded with 'V' shape 13. Case: Hiscox Liteflite of England with burgundy velour interior. 14. Price: Inquiry 15: Tone description: The overall tone is bright and clear. The trebles have character similarity to Hauser (Bream 1940) but warmer and not 'piercing'. The basses are deep, focus and still clear even at higher position. Balance through out. The 'rings' are noticable even to high registers.. Very balance with excellent volume. The combination of neck and string specifications, and with tapered neck makes the playbility very comfortable. |
