I bought this guitar in 2001 from a professional player in England,
Michael Hulmes. According to Mike, he once made 2 recordings with this guitar.
This is a real concert guitar! The power is great.
The basses are very deep, but a little bit boomy.
The trebles are thick and deep, but clear and had some kind of elegant rings on them. I would say that the guitar sound is piano-like sound in overall.
By no means, it's not a Spanish sound, instead it's a European sound!
I was surprised to notice the good craftmanship of the guitar, and it gave me a feeling it was something more than guitar everytime I explored the beauty of it. Later I found out that Mr.Fischer used to be a harpsichord maker. The selection of the materials are not to be questioned ! I got many sincere compliments from guitar experts/guitar makers everytime I showed it to them, especially
because of its Brazilian Rosewood good quality.
To be honest, it's not a guitar for students or amateur players like me. The left-hand playability is a bit tough. But what finally made me sell it was the right-hand playability. The string-tensions were too high, even after I had Mr.Tsutsumi, a Japanese luthier, lower the saddle.
This "Virtuoso" model seems to be the last traditional-based model of Paul Fischer, before he swifted to his modern "TAUT" model, which he applies it to his current model, "Conservatoire".

Despite our faith to be separated each other, I feel so proud to have possesed a guitar, which are/were used by other great guitarists such as
Nicola Hall,
Assad Brothers,
John Mills,
Eduardo Fernandez,
Paulo Bellinati,
Jason Vieaux, to name a few.
