What defines a soul mate, you may
one day wonder
hearts that touch when bodies meet,
the distant clasp of thunder
The meeting of the minds that stay,
forever in embrace
the wants the fears that ever haunt,
the meeting face to face
Could a soul mate be the one, that
feels it when I cry
who knows the facts of hurt and
pain, that make you wanna die
The person that will stand by me,
till the bitter end
or just the person that God sent,
or just an ear to bend
Could a soul mate ever be, the one
that needs not hear
but is always there always knows,
who even sheds a tear
Who stands side me when I'm alone,
who loves me like never fore
Who loves me for who I am, and
nothing ever more
A soul mate be nothing more, than
the comfort that love is pure
not tainted nor a fleeting thing,
but a love that will endure
A soul mate may just be the one,
that loves you till no end
or be the one that was always there,
since all of time began
Or is a soul mate just a friend
a lover, who understands until we die
who when we kiss our hearts entwine,
and souls reach toward the sky
Take the time to fall in love,
to doubt there is not disgrace
but in the end gaze toward the
sky, to see your souls embrace
