I told you that I love you, and you said you love me too
you swore that you love me, you would never leave me blue
You said it was forever, and this time it is for real
you told me that this is something, that you never did feel

You promised me tomorrow, and all the tomorrows to be
you told me to sit back, and forever I would see
what road do we take, the path just isn't clear
I just need to know one thing, how do we get there from here

sometimes just before I heard, the slaming of the door
