Haunted House
The old house sat before me, aged from so many years
feeling alittle weak inside, as I tried to swallow my
fears
The front door seemed to open itself, as I reached for
the knob
it is just a bet, I said walking in, I'm not here to
steal or rob
Walking through the front door, I saw the years of decay
it was just one night I said, and I was here to stay
Didn't matter ghosts or gobblins, for it me it was just
the same
I was here to find the truth, to find from where they
came
I thought I saw a movement, from just down the hall
why did I make this silly bet, why was I involved at
all
Trembling and shaking, I walked all through the house
when I heard that noise and thought, well that can't
be a mouse
Then something strange happened, of what I can't recall
I was running way too fast, I never saw it all
Then I heard the laughing, and saw the boys gathered
round
realizing I had lost the bet, and my brother made that
sound
