The Beginning
*BOOM* Corik shot up out of his bed, startled by the noise. He rubbed his eyes and looked over to see the front door of his room obliterated and crumbling on the floor. Through the gaping hole he saw the rest of his house engulfed in smoke and flames. He could hear blaster fire all around the area and the thump as some stray shots hit his roof from outside. I have to get out of hear, Corik thought. He got up, threw on his clothes and vest, and headed for the rubble that was once his door. Then he stopped. I hear blaster fire outside, maybe I should grab something from my weapons closet.
