Neural Receptor
Corik’s neural receptor gave him enhanced vision in addition to his heightened senses. His eyes could make out the entire area around him, like some sort of nightvision without the green color. He could see two openings not twenty yards away, one straight ahead, the other farther right. He took the one farther right, for its opening was much larger, about twice that of the other.
After a few minutes of walking, he reached the end, or so he thought. A blast door much like the ones of Capula headquarters stood in his way along with a metal wall. Being that there was nowhere to go except back the way he came, he hit the switch and opened the door, stepping in.
