Corik swung around the left corner and headed down the hall in that direction. He hoped Jethra would follow his lead for he felt it better not to approach the voice they had heard off to the right.
The door in front of him lay open, and Corik entered. Inside were shelves of equipment, mostly generic ship parts. However one shelf contained something he hadn’t expected. Fist sized cans of bacta sat in piles across one of the middle shelves on his right.
Bacta was the latest find in medical treatment for all sorts of battle wounds. Its powers were immensely greater than those of traditional medicine. However, because of its large demand and diminishing harvesting sources, bacta has become extremely expensive and thus a very profitable industry.
Corik pocketed one of the containers and headed back into the hall. Jethra was nowhere in site, but he could hear the shouting all the way from the other end of the hall. Corik figured Jethra wasn’t far from its origin, and so he began heading that way himself.
Corik has found a bacta container!
