Inside the Barracks
Inside the barracks, he and the group of hunters headed for the center. They passed by numerous lockers full of equipment and weapons. One of the doors was open and Corik peered inside for a quick look.
The lights were on in the racks that displayed the weapons. Though most of the shelves had been emptied, there were a few heavy repeaters left. Corik dropped his weapon and picked one of those up, for it would do a better job in this environment. A few others did the same.
Once they reached what they thought was the center, the halls split in three; one to the right, one to the left, and one straight ahead. Corik could hear blaster fire from all three directions, but he overheard one of the others say that the station’s turrets were down the right hall. Most of the hunters quickly split in different directions; Jethra headed right without hesitation. Corik needed to choose where to go.
All previous weapons have been lost.
Corik has found a heavy repeater!
