| 1) FUCK MICROSOFT. I have no problem with a company growing large enough that it becomes a monopoly, as long as it provides quality sevice at a reasonable price. What i have a problem with is the fact that they dont take over other companies, Bill Gates forces competition out of business using unlawful means, provides a generally crap and buggy service and charges a ridiculous amount of money for the poor service it provides. To my knowledge (possibly wrong) microsoft charges upwards of �200 to register a version a windows for ONE computer. This to be honest is a complete piss take and needs changing. JOIN TOGETHER IN SAYING "FUCK MICROSOFT". 2) Why do black people keep calling each other nigger? A dreogatary term, which means slave, worthless and owned by someone. This is a ridiculous out-dated word, which should be stripped from language. Also all of the oh so cool "gangsta" music persists in using it which simply fuels the use of the word. Stop it. Now. |

| 3) I hate all the "bling bling" gansta rap and garage shit. One reason is in my last rant but i also hate the way it promotes gun culture and the subject matter is also a load of crap, all about murder, being a big 'cool' drug dealer and women prancing about in skimpy unerwear all the time. The government tried recently (beginning of 2003) to blame the UK's gun culture on music, but all i have to say about that is poor excuse. The music is supposed to be a reflection of the culture, but really these days most music that sells is bound up in coporate dollars and because it has sold once they repeat it over and over with very little variation. Try listening to something like old school hip-hop and you'll find its political or makes you think in a new way about different issues. This is real music because it doesnt 'big up' all the crap things of society today. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| 4)Shoes! A non political rant on an idea from pete and i think hany also said shoes a while ago! Why do people own so many shoes? (im looking in the trendy direction amd you hany!). The one pair of shoes i own without holes in go with all the jeans i own whatever colour. And you also be a genius like hany and paint your shoes a different colour! |

| 5) Governments. Currently the u.k and u.s are sending troops to iraq. Tony blair did this without consulting parliment or the people and does not have the UN's consent or agreement. Roughly a fifth of the u.k's troops are in countries around iraq, millions have been spent and we're still being told there will be no war. bullshit. Also i find the reasons for the war distinctly suspicious. Over weapons? all thats been found is a few (10 i think) EMPTY chemical weapon warheads. 50 litres of mustard gas was declared and handed over. hmmmmmmmmm thats a lot of weapons. Admittedly the U.N think that 1000 tons of chemical weaponry is hidden out there somewhere, but it hasnt been found. Isn't it innocent until proven guilty, not guilty until proven innocent? If you read 1984 by George Orwell you'll find a theory that can be pretty much exactly related to the current situation. A state of constant war (war on terrorism), to allow the government to control the people and become a dictatorship. Also the law becomes enforced with no trial or hearing (new anti-terrorism laws in the u.k on which you can be held for indefinately with no proof, only suspicion). I believe war is inevitable, and has only been caused by stupidity. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| 6) Marching to protest against something. Sure marching against the war on iraq is all well and good seeing as it will show the politricks that we dont agree. But i'm expecting it to have no effect on them, and also it will probably turn violent. Watch any protest on the t.v. Generally they turn into a violent struggle against the police and prove absolutely nothing. I'm going to watch the news tonight (15th febuary, 2003), and i'll bet money someone got violent along the protest route. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| 6) (continued) I must say im impressed. Only 7 arrests i think it was, in the entire march. My reasoning for this is the fact it was full of kids and old people, but still, good stuff. | |||||||||||||||||||||
