| SERBIA AND MONTENEGRO NEWS |
| On the back of the tightest defence in the world cup thus far, Serbia and Montenegro have upset Spain to take top place in t heir group and qualify for the world cup. Their defensive prowess saw only one goal leaked in ten matches, against Spain, in which they still managed to grab a point. Unfortunatly yheir attack wasn't as strong with 16 goals in 10 matches, including three 0-0 draws. Half of their goals came against hapless San Marino inside their first three games. Top goalscorer Mateja Kezman however saved his five goals for when they counted, later in the campaign, scoring numerous winners. |
