COTE d'IVOIRE NEWS
A massive stroke of good fortune sees Cote d'Ivoire, also known as the Ivory Coast, through to the finals in Germany.  After losing 2-3 to Cameroon in the second last game, the Ivory Coast picked up a final match win to take top spot.  However had Cameroon striker Pierre Wome scored a peanlty against Egypt in injury time of their final match, it would have been Cameroon thorugh instead.

Chelsea superstar Didier Drogba headed the attack for the world cup debutants with nine goals in ten matches.  Aruna Dindane scored 7 himself to be ranked the 4th highest scorer in Africa.
