SAN MARINO
So what's the reason for this page? Well aside from the fact it's highly unlikely they'll make any sort of World Cup surge, it's basically to document how the hero's of San Marino do each and every game they play. Yes, the smallest country in the world now has an overseas following .... me. Join with me to support this country which has been plagued by bad luck in the international football arena. We covered their historical win, the first ever in their history and we'll be there for any other to come on Dave's World Cup.

San Marino News
Unfortunatly for us loyal folk that follow the San Marino team, we have been disappointed yet again. Not necessarily in the fact they finished bottom of their group as any group with Spain, Belgium and Serbia-Montenegro is always going to be tough, but more with the fact they failed to secure a point during qualification. However Andy Selva, San Marino's prolific striker, was the source of both goals scored during this campaign. He netted againsty Belgium in their narrow 1-2 loss and one against Bosnia-Herzegovina in the following match, going down 1-3. Three cheers for Selva! Hip-Hip-Hooray!
