Dave's Shaves was started in the year 2000 after Cormac and his brother Eamonn who founded it shaved their friend Tim Jarvis head.
They got the idea that they could start a label that would accompany Cormac's band "Piggy" as well as other local acts such as local ledgends Gigga Pet, at the same time making money out of hair cuts. $1.00 shaves so cheap that they are bound to get all the business, unfortunately Tim has been their only customer due to lack of advertising.
They called it Dave's Shaves because Cormac and Eamonn's names were too weird to use so they called it dave because it rhymed with shave.
