| I decided to go with the Euro-Reef CS8-2 protien skimmer. After alot of research I came to the conclusion that considering efficiency, size, and cost, the CS8-2 was the protien skimmer most suited to my needs. I pass about 500 gph through the skimmer which removes an amazing amount of smelly stinking skimmate every day. | ||||||||||||||

| The foam created by the skimmer risis up carrying with it various impurities and dissloved organic matter which is then deposited into the cup on top of the skimmer. This is eight hours worth of gunk. | ||||||||||||||
