The [DK] clan runs on a system of ranking for each clan member. All initiates are started at the ninth level, and strive to gain promotions to higher level. Promotions are recieved based on in-game points. Dave, being the clan master, can issue promotions to a clan member, typically it is awarded to the highest scoring [DK] member during a DK only match.
Challenges may be made to a higher ranking [DK] member in order to raise your rank. Defeating a higher ranked member in the first to five duels will raise your rank. Challenges must be approved by Dave in advance.
Ranks are titled as follows:

[DK2] Seneschal
[DK3] Commander
[DK4] Turcoplier
[DK5] Expert
[DK6] Marksman
[DK7] Apprentice
[DK8] Novice
[DK9] Initiate
