Letters to the Editor

Dear Editor,

I am what most would consider a liberal, but even if I espoused conservative political philosophy, I would label David Roberts a detriment to my cause.

Conservative legislation, executive actions, and judicial decisions have endorsed the following, while liberal politicians and judges have generally opposed the following — attempts in Kansas to remove evolution from state textbooks which would have limited students in their knowledge and their choice to decide on evolution or creationism; attempts to limit or prohibit the right of an individual to choose to have an abortion; actions prohibiting a person’s choice of recreational drug; finally, unaccounted military spending (including “black ops” funding) using taxpayers’ money without public justification, knowledge, disclosure, or choice.

Come on, David, don’t let George Will down, darn it. Make bow ties respectful again. But please don’t insult your readership’s intelligence anymore — you’re only embarrassing yourself.
