Columnist fears gays

Letter to the Editor
I, for one, support the notion that David Roberts should end his dreams of becoming an aerospace engineer and become a vaunted conservative journalist.

It makes me a little uneasy to think of David being in charge of a NASA project when he cannot do the simple math required to reveal that nearly 3,000,000 more voters voted for progressive ideals over conservative ideals in the election that promoted our accidental president.

Additionally, David demonstrates a lack of critical thinking when he implies that only a gay person would be supportive of their drive to be treated as humans. I have this mental picture of David being given the important task of converting English measurements to Metric measurements for the Mars Climate Observer II project, but being unable to correctly finish the task because someone mentions "the force of thrusters" and David becomes dysfunctional thinking of the evil gay people who are ruining his world.

As you begin your new conservative journalist job search, David, might I suggest The Daily Oklahoman, FOX News, or talk radio?

I heard they are firing their out-of-touch liberal staffs and are having a hard time finding quality conservative journalists like yourself. But David, please limit your job search to Oklahoma. Should you leave this state you might find that there are communities where people treat gays as any other human, unlike yourself who sees them only as targets of your homophobic hatred.
