Dear Editor:
On Friday, a letter I wrote in response to a column by David Roberts was printed. I thank you for that. I enjoy your paper.
However, a continuing concern I have had with the editing is the sensational headlines which don't accurately reflect the content of the article.
In this cast I can firmly state that the headline, "All-male institutions a thing of past" is not what my letter was about. It is in fact contrary to my belief. The debate over the value of single-gender institutions is far from over.
I was merely adding to the debate my own feelings that we shouldn't be too casual with each American's legal right to occasionally make waves during his or her pursuit of happiness.
