Ok so no update in ages, I feel an explanation is deserved.
Due to certain members of the band wanting more than to play the odd local show 'Residue' have called it a day.

John and Myself have formed another band 'Voice Of Aggression' along with our close friend Dave Robertson from 'Element 106'.
Future plans for 'Voice Of Aggression' include a European tour in July and an EP around Autumn.

Is this the final end for 'Residue'? Right now it seems so, but we all remain friends so I guess time will tell though dont hold your breath.

The Residue/Zillah/WBL gig on 6/1/03 has been cancelled due to the venue and promoter feeling it would not be a successfull gig with it being everyones first day back at Work/School. So for those who were planning to venture out in Aberdeen that evening go to Dr Drakes instead and see Nailbiter. On the positive side we should have a few new songs and an old one reworked for the gig on 28/12/02.

New look website, Next gig confirmed for 28/12/02 at Dr Drakes Aberdeen as part of AUBL alldayer, Hopefully have a few more gigs that weekend.Practicing at Exile Studios on Sat with plans to write/learn new material.More news on gigs hopefully later on this week.

Those nice people over at AUBL. Have given 'Hope and Fade' a review.We got 4/5.Was working on the cover for 'Iraquet' today should hopefully have it out by christmas.Took part in the anti-war march in George Square on Sat found it amazing to see so many people come together and voice their opinions, refusing to be ignored any longer.There may be hope for us yet.Looks like we've got our next gig booked for late Dec but more details to follow as and when its all confirmed.

So we recorded 'Iraquet' and are all very pleased with the results.Have been offered a couple of gigs in the next few months but will probably be unable to accept due to uni/school committments.Fear not tho as we will hopefully return around Dec.Few plans for some sort of small scale tour next summer starting to kick around though if anything will ever happen who knows.Stay true.........

Welcome to the website sorry there's not much to it at the moment I'll try to update and add stuff to it as often as possible as for now there's some photos (if you're patient) and mp3's up.The gig last night was a blast cheers to everyone who came along.Planning to record again at exile studios on friday this time just a few songs mainly (i)raquet which we'll hopefully release as a single towards the end of the year.Practicing tommorow for the gig at lava on wednesday supporting 5 knuckle.There's only a few copies of the ep 'Hope & Fade' left for sale the last 30 will be onsale at the gig on wednesday then thats it all 150 of them gone.....:)
