Hello everyone! I am David Roundy.I learned to crochet from my mom, and have been crocheting various things. It is amazing what you can make with crocheting. My specialty (as far as crocheting goes) used to be sandals, crocheted out of thick twine, but I haven't crocheted any sandals for years.
I have made an afghan (see
below) some time in 1995 (I think), which took a few months. It is
interesting because I designed it completely by myself. I even made up the
weave with which it is made. The picture below is a small portion of it
which I scanned in directly, before I had taken a photo of it. I just
scanned it in directly to the scanner. In the photo to the right, you can
see the whole thing, along with me (on the right), my brother (Paul), and
Allie, our dog.
One of my more recent crocheting projects (as of fall '97) was a pair of gloves I crocheted during the fall of '96. If you are interested in hearing about it, you should visit my glove page, since I have made a great number of gloves, only two of which were crocheted.
If you are interested in hearing more about crocheting (I can't imagine why), you can email me.
