Dave productions originated in 2002 with the release of Olivia Guthrie's 'Pallamallawa'. Using limited technology, the company founded an original contemporary style for country. It then developed into recording various other types of music such as pop, rnb, dance and hip hop.
Soon after the release of 'Pallamallawa', Steph joined and recorded her debut self-penned single 'Givin Up Everything'. This single was then mixed again and featured as a hidden track on her debut album. The new mix set new levels for Dave productions as it achieved great success on various internet sites such as www.garageband.com with an astonishing 4.8 stars out of 5!
Dave productions was designed to record independant artists and help develop their music with various promotion and airplay. Each and every track recorded is completely original to help artists create an idea of the proffessional level of the music industry.
Through the short time Dave productions has been around, it has aquired various artists whom have recorded several tracks. These artists include: Blade, DDP, Liv'N'KJ and Priz. Although these artists only recorded for a short period they had produced songs which helped with the experience of recording.
Olivia, who was the first artist to record with Dave productions has recorded with other artists and also in Impromptu studios where various tracks off her latest EP 'Turning Point' were recorded. She also now is doing many gigs around the Newcastle/Central Coast areas in Australia.
Future recordings now include Steph's follow up album which is full of collaborations such as 'Guess What' with Karina, 'Breakup' with the Angel ChiX and 'U Got Nerve' with Emma-j from the Angel Chix. Also, the Angel ChiX are set to make a storm with the release of their debut album 'The Rules' which features many tracks set to be hits, all recorded under Dave productions! |
