| Well, if you know me, then you know I'm a baseball fanatic and a HUGE Yankees fan. Kelli and I go every year since we've been friends to see them play when they come to Texas and play the Rangers. We were even fortunate enough to get to go to NYC in 2003 to see them play in Yankee Stadium....can you say the take the 4 Train to the Bronx baby? But if you go, make sure you get on the 4 train going UPtown....not DOWNtown, or you'll end up at the Brooklyn Bridge. haha We had a great time, not to mention the fact that we ended up getting to be there during the 100th anniversary year, which was really cool. My favorite player is Jorge Posada. Kelli's measuring stick is Derek Jeter....by whom all other males are measured and fall extremely short of even beginning to compete with him. lol And just so you don't think that I only watch for the cute guys and tight pants, I'll rattle off some stats....haha 26 World Championships, 40 pennants, 11 All-stars on current roster, 2004 Gold Glove recipient Derek Jeter, and numerous batting and fielding records. Ok, so go ahead and make some snide comment about the Yankees and their money....I don't care. I'll support the boys at all costs. Besides, you'd be picking a fight with the WRONG person. haha So in conclusion....GO YANKS!! It's time to get World Championship number 27!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! | ||||||||||||||||||||
