Pyrenees Scroggin
a fistfull of cooked broadbeans
some sliced and diced black pudding
some chunks of bacon or pork
pine nuts
chop these up... and stir fry them in
olive oil.
use a pinch of salt, a pinch of sugar
and a little garlic and white wine.
this is a simple dish and should be
served as a snak...with bread...and
wine...after a long days hiking in
the mountains.A nice Shiraz would
compliment this dish.
either that, or a slab of Mexican
beer.

Ive never been to the Pyrenees..
but apparently its quite beautiful, especially
during the snow. I had a friend who spent a christmas there,
and her memories of it, have become my own,
although Ive chosen to discard the part about the orgy
in front of the fireplace, with Peppe' and his friend
"Guido the fabulous"
