| Last Saturday we decided to explore downtown and do a little shopping for the weekend. To save us the hassle of parking we jumped on the local train and headed for the Frankfurt Hauptbahnoff (main train station). Stores are open on Saturday until 4:30pm and are closed all day on Sunday. (something about being able to rest on Sunday) Time is limited so we do what every good German couple does...We go to the Bier garten to decide how best accomplish this daunting task! |

| After a few moments of reflection (i.e, a couple of cold biers. We decide to vist the Kleinmarthalle (think it means small market). Which as it turns out is a very large farmers market with vendors from all over Europe selling all kinds of fresh produce, meats & cheeses and imported wines. (They even had wine from California!) |

| The quality and selection was great. We decided to pick up some cheese and wine from Italy, artichokes from Spain and steak from Germany. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| With the "fruits" of our labor in hand, we hopped back on the train, with a few hundred other weekend shoppers and made our way back home for a great dinner! |
