Hello to all the family from your Oz cousins (Mike and Ylana Bloom). We have been living here in Sydney for 20 years. Sydney is a great place to visit and now that you know who we are, we expect some visits from all of you! We love living here - about 30 minutes from the city and 15 minutes from the Olympic village. Mike has a lovely dental practice with 3 Australian dentists. It is a big practise and they employ 3 hygienists as well. Mike is a health enthusiast and enjoys excercising which includes tennis (ex squash ) and now in his old age the gym (and particularly the stretching classes- I suspect mainly for the cute chick who runs the course!) I am a speech pathologist and have specialised in assisting people who are primarily non verbal. I have written 3 publications including a software package (with an IT guy) and I love my work. I travel all over Australia running workshops. Taryn is now 23 years old. She completed her honours in Psychology last year, has taken a year off and will start her masters/PHD next year. She is planning to go to Melbourne to do this. She is interested in doing research and loves yoga. Kevin is in the last year of his undergraduate studies - communications and script writing. He moved out of home at the beginning of this year and shares a cute house with 4 friends near the city. Look forward to hearing from you. [email protected] |
