Full XT group,  Prestige MTB Double-butted Tange steel
The closest thing I found is a 1986 Bridgestone RB-1.

The '86 used a different tube-set - the '87 used this Prestige. This frame looks like the '86 with the under-stay brakes and dual bottle braze-ons on the down-tube.

The '87 also used road drop bars - I'm using road moustache bars on this, so the paint job might be off for the year.

Finished - Original XT group but with DuraAce 8-speed bar-end shifters, moustache bars, Brooks saddle I bought new in 1974, suspension stem.
Could be an '87 MB-2? 
Correct Prestige label, ugly John Deere colors..

As found, except with my Brooks saddle mounted.  I'm pretty sure someone painted this thing with a broom.
