We married one year later, and are still each other's best friend. Our four children have blended into a great family - with no "step brother" or "step sister" talk. Everyone's equal. I'm sure Austin, Kathy's only son was a bit overwhelmed going from being the only child to one of four!
At our wedding, Kathy read me these verses:
"...Entreat me not to leave you or to return from following you; for where you go I will go, and where you lodge I will lodge; your people shall be my people, and your God my God; where you die I will die, and there will I be buried. May the Lord do so to me and more also if even death parts me from you." Ruth 1:16-17
