October 10, 2003 - I failed to remember that on the 5th it was the site's fourth birthday.  I know the site has been dormant for a very long time, but I'm just glad that I've had the opportunity to be a part of the roller coaster community.

- I'm back from vacation in Florida where I visited Busch Gardens Tampa Bay.  Python (1977), Scorpian (1981), Kumba (1993), Montu (1996), Gwazi (1999), are the roller coasters in the park along with the innovative Rhino Rally (2001).  The park also had three water rides: Stanley Falls Flume, Congo River Rapids, and Tanganyika Tidal Wave.  A good site to visit for information on the park is located at BGTGuide.

- Canobie Lake Park is adding two new rides for 2003.  They're adding an excellently themed rotor-swing called daVinci's Dream.  A kiddie version of the ride is called Alpine Swings.  daVinci's Dream is located where the Riverfront Stage was.  Now all shows will either be at the Bozo Stage, Country Stage, or indoors in the Ballroom.  The Canobie Corkscrew coaster will also be repainted but the supports will now be black rather than gray.  All of the lights in the park are also being replaced or repaired and the Paratroopers ride is getting a new color scheme of red, white, and blue.  Canobie's website.

- I've updated the links section and there's one site that I recommend you visit: Coaster Image.  They've got some great pictures.  I'd also like to say how pleased I am that ThrillRide! is now once again up and running.  Robert Coker has all of the content that was up on the site before it was first shut down up there now, so go and read the great reviews.

- Wow.  It's been so long and hardly anyone has visited this site in the meantime.  I still love roller coasters and theme parks and in fact I visited Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Paramount's Kings Dominion, and Canobie Lake Park during the 2002 summer.  Right now, all my attention is towards my TOOL site which is growing so fast, but I can handle the traffic.  This site will still stay up for pictures and other references, but it won't probably get updated anytime soon.

October 5, 2001
- Well today is the 1 year anniversary of the site.  It started out as just having pictures and eventually developed into a site bigger than I could actually handle.  Due to schoolwork and a lot of work going on at my TOOL site I haven't really had time to come up with a gameplan for a new domain for this place.  I'm not saying the site will be shut down but I am saying that as you can see things are very slow and they'll probably stay that way.  I'm going to try and put up some Preview for 2002 stuff soon though.  I also have a review of Cedar Point which I have to finish writing up and that will go up.  However, don't expect any pictures anytime soon.

- Today two trains on Superman: Ride of Steal at Six Flags New England collided and 8 people were injured.  This has been a very bad year for New England parks:

Lake Compounce: Worker dies by getting hit by Boulder Dash
Lake Compounce: Train valleys on Zoomerang
Canobie Lake Park: Trains collide on Yankee Cannonball
Six Flags New England: Trains collide on Superman: Ride of Steel

- Giavanola has cleared up all rumors that it will stop making roller coasters.  It was in fact another company by the same name that made this announcement.  So the people that brought you Goliath and Titan are still going to unleash more scream machines.  Also, thank you to Robert Coker for maintening the best roller coaster web site ever.  ThrillRide! R.I.P. 1996-2001.
