When you hear the song "Do You Love Me" you can't help but be amazed at the voice of Mike Smith. Every time I listen to that song, I am blown away.
In October, 2003 while at his home in Spain, Mike suffered a fall and broke his neck. Today he is paralyzed from the waist down and is on a ventilator to help him breathe.
For most, that kind of accident would shut them down. Not so for Mike. With his devoted wife, Charlie, at his side (along with devoted friends), Mike strives everyday to improve.
One would think that would be the end of the voice that moved us all, but that is not the case. Through his music, Mike still touches our lives. He always will.
