Back in August of 1999, my Dad and I went on a 149 mile canoe trip Down the Wild and Scenic section of the Upper Missouri River in Montana.  The guide service we used was Starwest Adventures.  I highly recommend Starwest Adventures if you ever consider taking this trip - no experience necessary!!!  Below are a few pictures from the trip.   Thanks to Don Popejoy for some of these pictures.

You may have noticed this picture on all the pages I've created.  It's what's left of a homestead along the Upper Missouri River in Montana.  I think it represents my efforts of making web pages - not beautiful but still noticable!
Here we are just moments before takeoff.  From left to right are:  Jimmy Napier, Sid Napier (guide), Jim, me, Gail Carbiener (Dad), Steve, and not pictured is Don Popejoy.
Checking our supplies before final push off
Dad and I landing at the White Cliffs area.
Me at the now vandalised "Eye of the Needle".

The dark cliff area is LaBarge Rock.
Floating down the "Mighty Mo."
Dad and Don at the confluence of the Marias and Missouri Rivers.  Which way should we go?

Me stuck knee deep in mud.  Thank you Don for rescuing me!
